I am grateful to have received this award from working on Hell in High Water by Marcus Gardley. The cast and production team was outstanding. Being a part of this team at New Stage Theatre was a career highlight.

I just finished Eliza Jane Schneider’s amazing Accents Masterclass. She is an impressive force in the worlds of accents and voiceover. Even after many years of accent work, I gained an incredible amount of knowledge and deepened skills. Check it out!
Comments closedI had the pleasure to narrate this beautiful coming-of-age story set in the heartland where baseball is king. Bringing to life this story full of vibrant characters had me reliving many moments of my own life story. You can check it out on Audible.
Comments closedThis month I official joined the Southwestern University Theatre Department’s faculty. I am grateful for this opportunity and excited to give back to an institution that was formative in my intellectual and artistic development.
Comments closedIn Orlando, I connected and learned from my brilliant colleagues in the Voice and Speech Trainers Association. The guest speakers and workshops were outstanding and gave me a lot to add to my work as an instructor and actor.
Comments closedThis month I returned to NYC to see the most incredible theatre on stage. I witnessed the last performance of All My Sons and found Tracy Letts’ performance inspiring. The Ferryman was another absolute standout show.
Comments closedWake and I rolled up that ol’ 87 to Midland for our annual crawfish gig. While the Midland landscape might be my least favorite place on the planet, the folks are fine, the crawfish is cooked, and there’s enough lettuce to get me there.
Comments closedCamp Wedding is on FIRE! This feature film in which I co-star has been doing well on the independent film circuit. Director and co-writer, Greg Emetaz, has put a great deal of heart into this film, and I’m thrilled it is paying off. I am excited to represent this film at Deep in the Heart of Film Festival in July.
Comments closedIn March, I joined the faculty of The Actor’s School as a dialect and speech instructor. Working at this school is a great honor. Babs George, an actress who I admire and tremendously respect, has provide top-notch training to the Austin acting community for more than 25 years with her school. I am humbled to join this superbly talent group of instructors. https://theactorsschool.org
Comments closedI returned to New Stage to play Will Percy in Marcus Gardley’s Hell in High Water. There have been few plays I have done that have had such a powerful and immediate impact on the local community. Local leaders and legislators remarked on the importance of the telling of the historic 1927 Mississippi flood. The story came to life in large part through Grammy-winner Vasti Jackson’s original music (http://www.vastijackson.com/) Working him has been an artistic highlight.
