Bio
Cliff Miller began playing harmonica at the age of sixteen and soon started touring honky tonks, bars, and roadhouses in the Texas Hill Country with his step-dad Wake Eastman. He has appeared on three of Wake’s albums Against the Grain, Born Again Sinner and Crazy Moon.
In New York City, Cliff became a part of the vibrant bluegrass scene and committed to the study of fiddle tunes on harmonica. He joined the bands Homesick Hound Dogs, J.P. and Voodoo Blues, and J.D. Patch and the Hell Dwellers. With J.P. and Voodoo Blues, Cliff recorded a live album. With the Homesick Hound Dogs, he recorded the studio album January Tree. He has appeared on stage at B.B. Kings in Times Square with J.D. Patch and at SxSW with artist Helen Rose.
He has studied privately with harmonica greats Jason Ricci, Todd Parrott, James Conway, and Matheus Verardino. Currently, Cliff plays weekly with Wake in the Texas Hill Country.
